IHFA Participate in TAFISA World Walking Day 2026
India | 4 October 2026
The International Health and Fitness Association (IHFA) joined the global movement for TAFISA World Walking Day 2026 on 4 October 2026, encouraging its members, followers, and young people to stay active and embrace healthy lifestyles.
IHFA team members, volunteers, and followers participated from their own locations across India through a variety of physical activities, including walking, yoga, cycling, rope skipping, and karate.
More than 100 young participants from Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Haryana actively took part in the initiative.
The campaign highlighted an important message: physical activity can be enjoyed anywhere, anytime, and by everyone. Participants were encouraged to choose activities they enjoy and make regular movement a part of their daily lives.
As a proud member of TAFISA – The Association For International Sport for All, IHFA supports initiatives that promote physical activity, health, fitness, and active lifestyles for all.
IHFA celebrates TAFISA World Walking Day each year to encourage communities, young people, health and fitness professionals, and its wider network to become more physically active and contribute to a healthier society.
Move More. Stay Active. Stay Healthy.
