CPD Activity refers to a course, programme, event, or learning activity reviewed under the CPD Worldwide (UK) Accreditation Framework.
Learner refers to an individual undertaking a CPD activity.
CPD Worldwide (UK) accreditation:
Confirms that a learning activity has been reviewed against published CPD standards
Recognises structured learning for professional development purposes
Does not award qualifications or licences
CPD accreditation does not:
Constitute government, statutory, or regulatory approval
Guarantee acceptance by employers, regulators, or professional bodies
Confirm professional competence or fitness to practise
CPD Worldwide (UK) is an independent, privately operated CPD accreditation body.
CPD Worldwide (UK) is not:
A regulator
A government agency
A professional licensing authority
Accreditation must not be represented as such.
Accredited Providers may:
State that a CPD activity is "Accredited by CPD Worldwide (UK)"
Display the CPD Worldwide (UK) logo in accordance with branding guidelines
Reference CPD hours awarded for accredited activities
Accredited Providers must not:
Imply endorsement of the provider as an organisation
Suggest CPD Worldwide (UK) approval of professional competence
Use CPD accreditation to market unreviewed activities
Alter or distort the CPD Worldwide (UK) logo
Accreditation must be used:
Only for approved CPD activities
Only within the approved accreditation period
Only with accurate CPD hours as awarded
Accreditation must not be used:
In misleading, deceptive, or exaggerated claims
To replace regulated qualifications
To imply guaranteed career, legal, or professional outcomes
Accredited Providers are responsible for:
Maintaining the quality and accuracy of accredited content
Ensuring learning outcomes remain relevant and current
Issuing certificates in line with CPD Worldwide (UK) standards
Retaining learner participation records
Notifying CPD Worldwide (UK) of material changes to content
CPD Worldwide (UK) reserves the right to:
Conduct reviews or audits of accredited activities
Request updated evidence or documentation
Suspend or withdraw accreditation where standards are not met
Accreditation may be withdrawn if:
Misrepresentation occurs
CPD hours are inflated or misleading
Standards are no longer maintained
This policy is breached
CPD Worldwide (UK) shall not be liable for:
Decisions made by employers or professional bodies regarding CPD acceptance
Learner outcomes, career progression, or professional standing
Content accuracy beyond the scope of CPD review
Providers remain solely responsible for their learning activities.
All CPD Worldwide (UK) branding, frameworks, and documentation remain the intellectual property of CPD Worldwide (UK).
Unauthorised use, reproduction, or distribution is prohibited.
These terms and policies are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising in connection with CPD Worldwide (UK) accreditation shall be subject to UK jurisdiction.
CPD Worldwide (UK) reserves the right to amend this policy at any time.
Accredited Providers will be notified of material changes. Continued use of accreditation constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
