Hands-On Physiotherapy Workshop in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar

The team Maharashtra of the International Health and Fitness Association (IHFA), UK, successfully conducted a hands-on workshop on Sports Dry Needling, Sports Taping, and Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra, from 16 to 19 October 2026.
The workshop was conducted under the leadership of Dr. Mahesh Shinde, with Dr. Rushikesh Pol, PT, serving as the resource person. The programme received special support from Dr. Pranjali M. Gosavi, Professor, Dhaneshwari College of Physiotherapy, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Maharashtra.
The intensive practical training programme aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge and hands-on skills in sports physiotherapy, rehabilitation techniques, and evidence-informed clinical practice. Participants had the opportunity to develop practical competencies in sports dry needling, taping applications, and IASTM techniques relevant to musculoskeletal rehabilitation and sports injury management.
Upon completion of the programme, participants received Continuing Professional Development (CPD) certificates issued through the International Health and Fitness Association (IHFA), UK, recognizing their participation in professional learning and skill development.
IHFA continues to promote professional development and practical skill enhancement across healthcare, physiotherapy, rehabilitation, sports, and fitness through workshops, educational programmes, and professional collaborations.
The successful completion of this workshop reflects the commitment of the IHFA Maharashtra team and its academic collaborators to advancing practical education and continuing professional development among healthcare and sports rehabilitation professionals.
