Dr. Arun Kumar G (PT)

Dr. Arun Kumar G (PT) is the Founder and Managing Director of Arun Physio Rehab Center (APRC), Coimbatore, India. His clinical interests span geriatric physiotherapy, neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, fall prevention, and home-based rehabilitation. He leads physiotherapy services across clinic, home-visit, and tele-rehabilitation settings, prioritising functional independence and patient-centred care. Teaching and clinical mentorship are central to his professional work. He has trained numerous physiotherapy students and interns, supporting their transition from academic learning to confident, responsible clinical practice. He also mentors early-career and experienced physiotherapists in clinical reasoning, complex case management, goal setting, and the development of comprehensive, individualised rehabilitation programmes. A key focus of his educational work is building a network of local clinicians with strong expertise in their respective fields and bringing them together on a shared learning platform. Through expert-led classes, workshops, and mentorship, he facilitates the transfer of practical clinical knowledge to students and practising physiotherapists, while developing local experts as educators and resource persons. His areas of focus for continuing professional development include geriatric rehabilitation, balance and fall prevention, neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and practical rehabilitation planning. He serves as State Executive Member of the Tamil Nadu Physiotherapy Doctors Association (TPDA) and General Secretary of its Coimbatore District Branch.
